On Friday August 3rd J.B. passed away after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease and Cancer. He was 83. He loved the land, farming, and all living things. J.B. was a member of Living Waters Assembly of God.
He was the son of the late J. Harry Eames and Elsie Hunt Eames.
Survivors include one sister Marie Wray, his caregiver and her husband Brady Wray; Marie’s two sons Greg Clingenpeel, who was faithful till the end, and his children, Julie, Joey and Bobby, Todd Clingenpeel and wife Kim and their daughter Laura; many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Monday with Pastor Marla Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Eames Family Cemetery in Sontag.
Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Sunday with his family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
