John Franklin Fralin

John Franklin Fralin, age 75 of Union Hall passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at home. He was preceded in death by his father, Silas Fralin; mother, Mary P. Fralin; sister, Betty F. Brooks; brother, Jerry M. Fralin; and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Fralin. He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Fralin of 51 years; one son, Frankie Fralin and wife Martha; grandson, Lucas Fralin and fiancé Angelia Anderson and her daughter, Brittany Massey; one great-grandson, Dylan MaKaine Fralin (his pride and joy); two sisters, Brenda F. Fralin of Rocky Mount and Bernice “Bunny” Fralin (Donald Ferguson) of Union Hall; two brothers, Carlton Fralin of Rocky Mount, David Fralin and wife Wanda of Glade Hill; sister-in-law, Carolyn Fralin of Rocky Mount; brother-in-law, G.W. Thurman; and one sister-in-law, Frances Eubank and special friend J.B. Holland; along with nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday with Elder Larry Hollandsworth and Elder Marvin Brumfield officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Glade Hill Vol. Fire Department. Interment will follow in the Fralin Resting Place on Buckscrape Road, Union Hall. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday with his family receiving friends 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
