John William Hall, Jr.

John “Jack” William Hall, Jr., 87, died of congestive heart failure at the Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Salem, VA, on Friday, March 9, 2018. He was born July 28, 1930, in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late John W. Hall, Sr. and Marjorie R. (Prader) Hall. Jack was raised in Ocean View, DE. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Florence W. (Cobb) Hall, and younger brother, David L. Hall.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three sons, Dwight W. Hall, Jerome W. Hall, and Scott W. Hall, his daughter, Mary Jane W. (Hall) Gardner, and his sister, Sandra J. (Hall) Meeks, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11am, Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Mt Ivy Christian Church, Moneta, VA, with Pastor Steve Pasley officiating.

The interment for Jack and Florence will be held at 2pm on Friday, June 29, 2018, at Ocean View
