John Hayes Hussey

John Hayes Hussey, age 87 of Rustburg, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. He was the youngest son of the late Charles Lawrence and Martha Fidelia Goodwin Hussey. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anne Connolly Hussey. He was born in South Berwick, Maine on December 3, 1932 and worked with his grandfather. He learned woodworking from his uncle and restored old houses in New England, Pennsylvania and Virginia. John and Anne lived in Charlotte County, Virginia for 35 years before moving to Rustburg, Virginia in his last years. He is also survived by his sister, Phyllis Jean Clarke; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathleen Connolly, Peadraig Connolly, Galway Ireland; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Paul Hussey, Charles S. Hussey, Gerald Hussey, Edgar Goodwin Hussey, Rachel Euphema Tucker Gratti, Madelene Jeanette Tilly, Martha Abott and Kathleen Kielty. Interment will be held in Mt.
