John James "Jimmy" St. Clair

John James “Jimmy” St. Clair, age 69 of Wirtz, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 5, 2008 after a long battle with cancer. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Samuel Howard and Pauline St. Clair; one brother Howard St. Clair; three sisters Madeline Murphy, Ruby Mullins and Joyce Wray. Surviving are his son Sammy St. Clair; daughter Cindy St. Clair; two grandchildren Kaleigh Morgan St. Clair and Jeremy Tyler St. Claire; three sisters Phoebe Cole, Dolly Moore and Marybelle Moore; many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 3907, Martinsville, VA 24115. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Friday with Rev. Denver Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Moore Family Cemetery. His family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
