John Thomas Barr

John T. Barr, 57 years old from Hardy Va. passed away May 19th 2016. He bravely dealt with MS for 18 years. Survivors are his parents John Y. and Shirley Barr; sister and brother-in-law, Sheryl and Richard Greiner of Huntington Beach, CA.; three boys he loved dearly and called his sons, Jeremy of VA., Joshua of Colorado, and Jake Mitchell of Northern VA.; nephews, John Houston, Tom, Greg and Qui Greiner; niece, Kelli Greiner of Huntington Beach CA.. John T was born in Ellwood City PA., graduated High School at Fort Hunt H.S. in Alexandria VA and James Madison University in VA He worked for C&P Telephone Co in VA and Maryland until getting ill. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Ellwood City, PA. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center Rocky Mount/ Smith Mountain Lake.
