Johnny Morris Angell

Johnny Morris Angell, age 64 of Penhook died Monday, May 14, 2018 following an extended illness. He was the son of Wilson and Beatrice Angell. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sharon Angell; sisters and brothers, Mona and Frank Wright, Wayne and Faye Angell, Jean and Vernon Jones, Betty Jo and Billy Shively, Thomas and Myra Angell, Sarah and Dan Heckman, Stelia and Mark Wilbourne, Bruce and Sue Angell, Daphne Allman, Dolores Hudson, Posey and Carolyn France, Mike and Barbara France, Pat and Barbara France; special friends, Sammy Turner, Adrian Castellon, Chava, Orlando, Juan, and Aurelio; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Johnny enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He never met a person that he did not enjoy talking with. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Franklin Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Gallimore officiating. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of Dolores Hudson, 120 Potters Creek Road, Penhook.
