Johnny Rose

Johnny Lewis Rose, age 56 of Rocky Mount departed this life on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the home of a friend. He was born on April 15, 1959 to Willie Oscar and Dixie Beckner Rose in Franklin County. Johnny worked at MW (now Ply Gem) for 38 years where he truly loved his co-workers. He attended Woodlawn Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Oscar Rose; brothers, Calvin Rose and Billy Rose; and girlfriend, Teresa Pagans. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Mrs. Dixie Beckner Rose Stump; brother, Earl Rose (Viola); three sisters, Mary R. Hodges, Diane Powell, Susan Ann Rose; nieces, Nicky Rose, Tammy Rose and Annette Rose; nephews, Scotty Rose and Chad Rose; special friends, Margie Pagans, Martha Pagans; and his Ply Gem family. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Eddie Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
