Jolene Atkins Riddle

Jolene Atkins Riddle, age 77 of Rocky Mount passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lucy Jones Atkins; husband, Donald L. Riddle, Sr.; sister, Sandra Martin; and grandson, Travis Toler. Surviving are her children, Michael Toler (Lori) and Kim Bruggemann (Willis); grandchildren, Hunter Bruggemann (Amber), Aaron Bruggemann (fiancé Elsie) and Kaylee Bruggemann; step-grandchildren, Lesley Wright (Walter) and Logan Cook (Irina); great-grandchildren, Dewey Bruggemann, Alaya, Ayden, Asher and Arik Cook, Ava Williams, Karley Wright and Madison Wright; brother-in-law, Karl Martin; nephew, Bryan Young (Tina); great-niece, Emma Young; and special friend, Doc Law. Jolene retired from 619 Minute Market with many years of service. She was a member of Flint Hill Community Church. Her family extends special thanks to Carilion Hospice Services of Franklin County for their care. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024 with Rev. Anthony Budzik and Pastor Roger Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
