Jonathan Bryant Lavinder

Jonathan Bryant Lavinder, age 31 of Rocky Mount and beloved member of our family went to be with Lord on Friday, February 26, 2016. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ford and Thelma Cundiff of Rocky Mount; and Noel and Dura Lavinder of Martinsville. Surviving are his parents, Conrad and Phyllis Lavinder; twin brother, Jason Lavinder; special cousins, Daniel and Joshua Bowles; girlfriend, Ruth Rucker; as well as numerous other cousins, aunts, uncles, family and friends. Jonathan was a 2003 graduate of Franklin County High School and member of Rocky Mount United Methodist Church. He loved golfing, hunting, boating, his family and his brother very much. Memorial services will be conducted from Rocky Mount United Methodist Church 3 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Bruce D. Tuttle officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rocky Mount United Methodist Church Building Fund, 35 North Main Street, Rocky Mount, Va. 24151.
