Joseph Lawrence Prillaman

Joseph Lawrence Prillaman, age 80 of Callaway passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012. He was born July 17, 1931 a son of the late Fred and Ember Mae Sue Prillaman. A retired dairy farmer, he is survived by his children and their spouses, Joe Prillaman, Mary Ann and Steve Miller, David (Crockett) Prillaman, Martha and Dale Abbott, Matthew and Terri Prillaman; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted from Piedmont Presbyterian Church 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. David Codington officiating. Interment will follow in the Prillaman Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Callaway Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 44, Callaway, Va. 24067. His family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
