Joyce Haden Brittain

Joyce Haden Brittain, 80 of Rocky Mount passed away Wednesday August 8, 2012. She was born June 27, 1932, a daughter of the late James and Theogacia Wood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Brittian; a sister, Frances Herviety. Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Mary Wood; a special friend, Gracie Williams; caregivers, Ron and Evelyn Phennicie. Graveside service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount/ Smith Mountain Lake.
