Joyce Amelia Hammond

Joyce Amelia Hammond, age 79 of Ferrum, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021. Surviving are her husband, John Hammond; son, David Hammond (wife Stacy); three grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan and Megan; seven great-grandchildren and sixteen nieces and nephews. She worked for the State of New Hampshire for over 22 years, business owner with husband of J & J Wood Products and Van Wert Aviation. She loved to travel with husband and family, her most favorite destinations being Pigeon Forge and Disney. She enjoyed spending time with family and sharing wonderful memories about her adventures over the years from dancing to visiting so many wonderful places throughout the country including living in Philippines for over two years. She will be loved and missed by so many. Services will be private. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
