Joyce Hodges James

Joyce Hodges James, age 73 of Rocky Mount died Wednesday, October 8, 2014. She was retired from Cooper Wood Products and was a member of Oak Grove Church of the Brethren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ruby Hodges; husband, Troy James; and nephew, Stacy Hodges. Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Sherry Hodges; sister and brother-in-law, Robin and Davey Campbell; nieces and nephews, Brad Campbell, Debbie Hall, Kristi Baker, Melony Oakes, Cale Oakes; many great-nieces and great-nephews; aunt, Mabel Mitchell; cats, Millie, Moochy, Max; and special dog, Rosie. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Planned Pethood of Franklin County. Graveside services will be conducted from Oak Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery 2:00 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Richard Thomas and Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating.
