Joyce Ann Sigmon

Joyce Ann Sigmon, age 70 of Rocky Mount passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014. She was born December 30, 1943 a daughter of the late Abe and Ruby Shockley. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Lorine Custer (Roy), Lovennia Jones (Burt); brother, Raymond Shockley. Joyce loved going on vacation with Judy and John. She also retired from MW Windows after 21 years of service. Surviving are her children, Tommy Dunn, Missy Bowles and husband Greg, Ray Dunn and wife Tabitha, Chuckie Sigmon and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Tyler Sigmon, Chelsea Dunn, Laken Dunn, Dominic Bowles, Jennifer Shaver, Wyatt Sigmon and Evan Dunn; brothers, Alonza Shockley and wife Dorothy, Jim Shockley and wife Roberta and Wesley Shockley; and sister, Susan Brown. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 with Pastor David Long officiating. Interment will follow in Acorn cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
