Joyce B. Smith

Joyce B. Smith, age 65 of Wirtz died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at her home. She was born March 29, 1947 a daughter of the late Warren and Thelma Blankenship Bradford. She was also preceded in death by her great-grandson, Brayden Bogle. Surviving are her husband, Donald Wayne Smith; son, Darryl Smith; grandchildren, Jessica Smith and Kady Smith; great-grandchildren, Hunter Bogle and Mason Smith; brothers and sisters, Janice and Roger Smith, Geraldine and Larry Hylton, Roger and Barbara Bradford; and nephew, Bobby Smith. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Denver Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
