Juanita Carter Hale

Juanita Carter Hale, age 94 of Ferrum died Wednesday, January 22, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Carter; mother, Nora Carter; husband, Donald Hale; and son, Terry Peters Sr. Surviving are her grandchildren, Terry Peters Jr, Sammy Peters, Angela Brumfield and Kevin Peters; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Juanita was known for her delicious food, beautiful handmade quilts and love for her family. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at the Carter-Young Family Cemetery with Chaplain J.T. Clark officiating. Her family will receive friends 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
