Juanita Thurman Stanley

Juanita Thurman Stanley, age 84 of Rocky Mount, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Stanley, brothers, Donald Thurman and Dewey (Brud) Thurman, sisters, Iris Powell, Mildred Layman and Lealda (Sis) Angle. She was a member of Flint Hill United Methodist Church and worked for Leggett’s over 40 years and Peebles over 10 years. Surviving are her children, Timothy Stanley (Ronda), Denise Law (Mark, deceased), Lori Davidson and Neil Stanley, grandchildren, Hope Jones (James), Jeremy Stanley (Autumn), Dustin Stanley, Enna Roseberry (Phillip), Stephen Law, Devin Rumburg, Ashton Davidson, six great-grandchildren, sister, Betsy Pauline Finn, brother, David Thurman, two great-granddoggies, adopted granddaughter, Lindsey Gayle Buckner-Morris, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday June 2, 2022 at Flora Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.  Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
