Judith Anne Langbein

Judith Anne Langbein, 80, of Fuquay Varina, NC, was called to be with the Lord, Monday, May 2 ^nd , 2021. Judith was born December 17 ^th , 1940 in Red Bank, NJ to Lydia (Murphy) Hallam. As a teenager she served her community, and garnered awards for her dedication. She graduated from Red Bank High School in 1959. On October 10, 1964 she married Edward William Langbein in Lakewood, NJ. Judith worked at first for Shop Rite but dedicated much of her life as a homemaker to raise her 2 children. She had a generous spirit and was always willing to give help to organizations helping those in need. She did return to work once her children left home, and eventually retired with Edward to Smith Mountain Lake, Va, in 2001. She showed strength in being a 2 time cancer survivor, including being cleared as recently as 2018. She also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In 2019 she relocated to Fuquay Varina, NC. Judith is survived by her two children, Kathleen and her husband Dennis D'Heron of Penhook, Va, and John Eric of Fuquay Varina, NC; two grandchildren, Edward Louis D'Heron and his wife Holly of Rocky Mount, Va, and Danielle Melinda (D'Heron) Silverthorne and her husband Bryan Silverthorne of Charlotte, NC; and two great-grandchildren, Gabriel Edward and Connor Louis D'Heron. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward. By Judith’s request, service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital in her memory.
