Judy Smith Bennett

Judy Anne Bennett, age 62 of Rocky Mount died Saturday, February 23, 2019. She was born July 5, 1956 a daughter of the late Joel Smith and was also preceded in death by her husband, Garland Bennett; brother, Glen Smith; sisters, Cindy Hodges and Margie Guthrie. Surviving are her son, Donovan (Farah) Hodges; grandson, Donovan Lee Hodges, Jr.; mother and stepfather, Peggy (Gilbert) Hodges; brothers and sisters, Charlene (Brian) Bowles, Fay (Rex) Bennett, David (Janice) Smith, Clay Hodges, Bobby (Sue) Smith and Andy Smith; along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
