Judy Divers Smith

Judy Divers Smith, age 70 of Rocky Mount went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 6, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Lee Divers and Mary Divers Davis; husband, Terry Iven “Baby” Smith; brothers, Glenn, Wilford and Larry Divers; sisters, Susie Dickerson, Mary Lee Wilson and Norma Jean Greenway. She is survived by her six children, Lisa (James) Wells, Teresa (Joe) Pruitt, Trenda (Emilio) Ruiz, Gerald “Bodie” (Ginger) Smith, Mark (Julie) Smith, and Kevin (Jennifer) Smith; grandchildren, Digger (Kim) Wells and James Wells, Amy Holland, Brad Pruitt and Kamronn, Brittney and Shea Smith, Christina, Emily, and Amber Ruiz, and Skye Smith; four great-grandchildren, Graycie, Bethany and Emma Holland and Emersynn Dunn; two brothers, Joe Divers (Millie) and Bobby Divers (Linda); one sister, Linda Divers. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019 with Pastor Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in the Divers Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount, and other times at the home of Teresa Pruitt, 232 Sandridge Road, Rocky Mount, VA.
