Judy Law Wood, 67, formerly of Rocky Mount passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 at her residence in Roanoke. She was a graduate of Franklin County High School and Hollywood Beauty School. Judy was a hairdresser with her sisters at Hair Fashions in Rocky Mount for several years after which she and her husband moved to Roswell, GA for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jesse Wilson Law and Odell H. Law, a brother, Jesse Edward Law and her daughter, Annette. Surviving are her husband, Donnie Wood, daughter and son-in-law, Christie and Steve Shively, granddaughters, Magan and Brandi Shively, sisters, Ethel L. Akers (Eugene), Garnett L. Flora (David), Martha L. Hubbard (Billie), Becky L. Coleman (Rev. Ronald), brother, Jimmy Law (Gail), brother-in-law and sister-in-law, M. E. (Buddy) and Lorene Wood, several nieces and nephews. Private family memorial services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel with Pastor Eric Anspaugh and Pastor Joe Dillon officiating.
