Julia Minnie Hall

Julia MINNIE Hall, age 85 of Rocky Mount, passed away quietly in her home on Friday, August 2, 2024. Minnie was a loving woman who loved God and her family. She didn’t meet a stranger. Over the years she took many children and people into her home and treated them all as family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Junior Hall; son, James Arnold Hall; grandson, Kane Martez Belcher; and sister, Ruby Yvonne Neice.

Left to cherish her memory include daughters, Cindy Hall and Leona (Randy) Dudley; grandchildren, Sandra Turner, Phillip Turner, Payton Conner, Dacoma (Hailey) Dudley; great-grandchildren, A’Raja Young, Jasmine (Bradley) Young, Brayden Conner, Sanaiya Dudley, Daylen Dudley; great-great-grandchildren, Brayden Carroll, Kar’Ma Carroll; brothers, Elvin Hunley, Billy Hunley; and a host of other nieces; nephews; family and friends. A memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Hodgesville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating. Her family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. prior to the service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.

I am home in heaven, dear ones.

Oh, so happy and so bright!

There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed,

I am now at peace forever, safely home in heaven at last.

There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idly stand;

Do it now, while life remaineth, you shall rest in God's own land.

When that work is completed, He will gently call you Home;

Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come.
