Julian Gary Gillespie

Julian Gary Gillespie, age 10 (of Wirtz and recently of Collinsville) arrived here on October 2, 2015 and returned home Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Julian was very loved by so many. He loved sports and being outdoors. Julian loved every minute spent with cousins, riding bikes, swimming, and going to church. Julian will be forever missed. Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Amber Wilcher and Gary Gillespie Jr.; younger siblings, Rae’lynn, Jersey and Benson Gillespie; grandparents, Gary Gillespie Sr. (Amber), Clidia Gillespie, Lee Wilcher and Melissa Simmons (Jim); great-grandparents, Joyce and Gary Gillespie and Dickie M. Wilcher; aunts and uncles, Autumn Wilcher (Micheal), Kaitlyn Wilcher, Amanda Thrush, Danielle Ledbetter (Ryan), Evan Gillespie, Austin Wilcher (Brittany Stover), Paul Gillespie, Jr. (Samantha), Brandon Carson, Preston Rhodes; cousins, Kamdyn, Madalyn, Deklyn, Hudsyn, Carson, Noah, Novalee, K’launa, Easton, Fallon, Christopher, Dalilah, Brittany (Bradley), Brittley, Braylyn, Brayden, Alberico, Timothy, Abigail, Dixie, Johnathan and Neveah; and so many more loving cousins. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount. There will be no prior visitation.
