Junior Wilson Adkins

Junior Wilson Adkins, age 69 from Rocky Mount, went to be with the Lord on November 30, 2011. He was born April 7, 1942 and grew up in Climax, Va. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mable, father Rufus; brothers, Harold and Clarence; sisters, Mildred Crews, Rachel Gross; wife, Elizabeth Corville. He is survived by his sister, May Tosh; son, Ricky Adkins, (Rhonda); grandchildren, Cody, Amber, Takoda, and Megan, (Ethan); and friends Mark Singleton, (Lisa) and Michelle Robertson; and Mary Thurman. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Chapel with Pastor Paul Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends 6:00 til 8:00 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
