Junior Monroe Bobbitt (Rescheduled)

Junior Monroe (Bubba) Bobbitt, age 77 of Hardy passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018. He was born July 3, 1940, a son of the late Harry and Ola Bobbitt. He was also preceded in death by his son, Theron Bobbitt; brothers, Clyde and Gilbert Bobbitt; and sister, Mary Louise Bobbitt. Surviving are a step-son, Kelley Dillenberger; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gracie and Willie Dillon, Ruby and Bobby Rankin, Betty and Kenneth Underwood, Nellie Mills and Daniel; sister-in-law, Shirley Bobbitt; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services have been rescheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Flora Funeral Chapel with Rev. Denver Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Epworth United Methodist Church Cemetery. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
