Justin Lee Scott

Justin Lee Scott, 37, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026. Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alice and Clifford Mullins; Beatrice and Calvin Scott; as well as a special uncle, Rusty Coffman.

He is survived by his loving parents, Gary and Kathy Scott; his cherished daughter, Sofia Scott, and her mother, Samantha Sandoz; his brother and sister-in-law, Chad and Alison Scott; and his two favorite nieces, Malaina and Makenna Scott.

Justin was a native of Rocky Mount and graduated from Franklin County High School in 2007. He continued his education at Liberty University, where he earned his law degree in 2013. Justin went on to be an elder law attorney, practicing in Cherry Hill, NJ. He was a resident of Haddonfield, NJ.

Justin leaves behind a legacy of countless friendships and meaningful connections. He never met a stranger and had a natural gift for making others feel welcomed and valued. He consistently put others before himself, offering his time, encouragement, and support without hesitation. Justin lived his life guided by the Golden Rule, treating everyone with kindness, respect, and compassion. His warm smile, generous heart, and unwavering loyalty will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2026. His family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
