Karen Faye Laprade

Karen Faye Laprade, age 54 of Penhook passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018. She is survived by her parents, William Sr., and Jewell Laprade; brother, William H. Laprade Jr., (Marlene); sister, Teresa Bernard (Sammy); nephews, Josh Hale (Tracy) and Seth Bernard; great-nephews, Mason and Maclin; special friend and companion, Todd Grindstaff; special friends, Brondwyn Sheffield and Tammy Moushegian; god-daughter, Syndey Sheffield; her dog, Barker; along with many other family and friends. Karen was a member of Cool Springs Christian Church. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Flora Funeral Chapel with Rev. Betty Marshall and Rev. Roy Parker officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Laprade Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the SPCA. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
