Karen Lynne Turner

Karen Lynne Turner, age 56 of Callaway, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. She was preceded in death by grandparents Dennis and Mary Johnson, John and Kate Turner. Karen was an employee of Uttermost and was a member of Rocky Mount Christian Church. She also volunteered at The Harvester where she made many friends. She is survived by her parents, John Ed and Pat Turner; brother Mark; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to thank the employees of Uttermost and The Harvester for all they have done for Karen in this three year battle with cancer. Also, many thanks to the Rocky Mount Christian Church family and many friends who stood by her. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 with Rev. Matthew Ricks and Chaplain Buck Romero officiating. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount. Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Rocky Mount Christian Church. Karen fought a hard battle up until the end. She loved and was loved by many.
