Kate Eanes

Kate Eanes, age 67 of Rocky Mount went home to be with God and her mama, who she loved very much following a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Addie and Owen Law; special uncle, Willie Smith; four brothers, Andy Law, Tommy Law, Everette (Peanut) Law and John Henry Law; two sisters, Laura Emma Law and Louise Gravely; special companion and beloved pet, Danny. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Bernard Eanes; Katelyn Law (niece, daughter, and granddaughter) all in one; brother, Amos Law; five sisters, Elsie Harrison, Pat Eubank, Gladys Holt (Wayne), Betty Dillon (Fulton), and Judi Law; one sister-in-law, Sharon Law; a very special nephew, Mark Eubank; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby and Nancy Eanes; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of her sister, Pat Eubank, 525 Willow Creek Road, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151.
