Katherine I. Gray

Katherine I. Gray, age 88 of Union Hall and formerly of Alexandria, Va. died Wednesday, December 9, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Gray. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Dick and Diane Gray of Union Hall; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Gene Murrell of Georgia; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 3 p.m. Friday with Pastor Stan Parris and Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Alexandria, Va. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heavenly Manna, P.O. Box 392, Rocky Mount, Va. 24151 or Stepping Stone Soup Kitchen, 565 Diamond Avenue Ext., Rocky Mount, Va. 24151. Her family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
