Katherine Marie Thompson

Katherine Marie Thompson, age 93 of Ferrum passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Born on September 15, 1931, Katherine lived a life marked by love and dedication to her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glenn Thompson; and many of her brothers and sisters. She leaves behind a loving family including her sons, Billy Thompson (Judy) and Paul Thompson (Missy (Gracie)); her grandchildren, Olivia Thompson (Frank), Haley Thompson (Daniel); brother, Hub Midkiff; and special friends, Bob and Cynthia Okenquist. Her life was a testament to the quiet strength and resilience she carried through her years, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Maple Grove Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
