Kathleen Meaney

Kathleen Meaney, age 70 of Rocky Mount died Sunday, August 29, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Meaney; parents, Cornelious and Dorothy Bonacum; sister, Bonnie Bonacum; other relatives and friends. Surviving are her daughters and family, Kathleen Miles, Kelly Meaney and Cliff, Tom and Isabelle May, Kristine and husband Thomas Huber; grandchildren, Joseph, Pate, James, Timothy, Christian, and Lindsay; two brothers, Richard and Niel Bonacum, Jr.; and sister, Dorothy Bachelor. Funeral services will be held at Bethel AME Church at 1 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2010 with Rev. Gore officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethel AME Church, 385 Diamond Ave, Rocky Mount, VA, 24151. Her family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 12 noon Friday at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
