Kathy Altice Amos, age 49 of Wirtz, died Thursday, August 28, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wilford Altice; and her father-in-law, Curtis Amos.
She was a former employee of Singer Furniture for 20 years and was currently employed by Carilion. Kathy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend to all.
She is survived by her husband, Rick Amos; daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Josh King; sister and brother-in-law, Tammi and Henry English; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Gwen Altice; mother, Betty Altice; mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Amos; brothers-in-law, Derrick Amos and wife Sharon, Barry Amos; special aunt, Mildred Altice; several nieces and nephews; and her special dog, M&M.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday with Pastors Lonnie Sorrell and Joseph Hodge, Jr officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
Her family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
