Kathy Lynn Hall

Kathy Lynn Hall, age 47 of Rocky Mount died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Marshall Ferguson; grandmother, Norene Ferguson; and uncle, Gerald Ferguson. Kathy continued to work her job at Carilion Roanoke Memorial even through her treatments. She was a single mother who raised her children while attending and graduated from Ferrum College. Surviving are her children, Amber Plunkett (Curtis) and Terry Hall; many other family members and friends; and her dog, Amy Lynn. Her body was donated to science. A memorial service will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel 4 p.m. Saturday with Dr. William Shively officiating.
