Kathy Linn Hutcherson

Kathy Linn Hutcherson, age 61 departed this life on January 17, 2014. She was at home surrounded by loving friends. Kathy was predeceased by her friend and the love of her life, Don "Hutch" Hutcherson. Kathy served in the U.S. Army where she was stationed in Italy. She later worked for the Department of Veterans? Affairs until her retirement. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa McGhee and two grandsons, Joshua McGhee and Jeffrey Lowery. Kathy is also survived by many dear friends including Marvin and Sheli Lynch and their children Krystofer and Ciara Lynch. Kathy was cared for in the last year of her life by loving caregivers, Bonnie Kennedy, Ashley Kiser, Christy Lynch, and Brenda Wright. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside, Franklin Memorial Park, 2:00 p.m. Sunday with Dr. Joe Bryant officiating. Her family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount
