Kevin Hunt Santrock, age 48 of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday, October 28, 2007 in the local hospital.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward L. Santrock, Jr.; grandparents, Kermit and Sarah Hodges Holland; Edward L. (Joe) and Ruby Santrock.
Kevin is survived by his daughter, Kayla Marie Santrock; mother and stepfather, Evelyn H. and Ronald Phennicie; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet and Glenn Turner, Kimberly and Walter Mitchell.
Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews including a special aunt, Gladys Wade; special friends, Mark, Lynne and Berkeley Foster.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital for the kindness shown to Kevin.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
