Kevin Scott Smith

Thursday, May 14, 2015, Kevin "Scott" Smith, aka "Fudge" went home to be with the Lord and his cherished Daddy- his best friend. Deep down Scott had a soul that shined with love and determination that many of us often questioned because we didn't quite understand. During this most difficult time, we realize that it's not meant for us to understand but to accept God's will and trust in HIM. Scott will never be forgotten but remembered for his strong love for his daughter, Kailee "Ree", and his devoted mama, Nancy Smith. Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Dorothy Poindexter and Wilbur Smith. He was also preceded in death by his father, William "Paul" Smith and niece, Kameron Taylor Shively. He is survived by his beautiful daughter, Kailee Smith; mother, Nancy Smith; sisters Kristi Norton (Jack); Kelli Shively (Shawn); Ivan Gonzales (Karissa); nephews- Jackson, Camden, Noel; nieces- Summer, Payton, and Layla; grandmother, Virginia Smith, "Ma-Ma", with whom he loved to talk to everyday; aunts and uncles, Jimmy and Joanne Poindexter ; Rabon and Emily Smith and cousins Penny Smith and Lesley Wray , and a special friend Jammie Davis . He has been reunited with his daddy now, who he missed so much. Graveside services will be conducted at Franklin Memorial Park, 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 with Rev. Eddie Peters officiating.
