Kimberly Thomas Boyd, age 46 of Ferrum passed away after a long illness on Saturday, April 25, 2009.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Jessie B. and Rosalea F. Thomas; and by one brother, Gary B. Thomas.
Kim was a loving wife to Daniel Boyd and an exceptional mother to Jessie (JT), Nicholas, and Courtnee. She is also survived by four brothers, Vaughn Thomas of Summersville, WV, Eddie Thomas of Henry, Eugene Thomas of New Castle, Jessie (J) Thomas of Henry; six sisters, Jannie Ellison of Rainelle, WV, Sandra Thomas of Henry, Wanda Tatham of St. Albans, WV, Geraldine Thomas of Henry, Jessica Bowling of Ferrum, and Amber Spencer of Rocky Mount; numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
