Kimberly Smith Hawks

Kimberly Smith Hawks, age 44 of Ridgeway went home to be with the Lord Thursday morning, April 22, 2010. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church where she served along with her husband, Pastor Eddie Hawks. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sam and Lillie Pickurel, Clayton and Emma Smith. Surviving are her husband of 26 years, Pastor Eddie Hawks; son and daughter-in-law, Zachary and Alesia Hawks; grandchildren, Carleigh and Hayden; parents, Homie and Mildred Smith; sister, Denise Hughes and husband Jimmy; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Ruby Hawks; sisters-in-law and spouses, Vickie and Jack Hager, Lisa and Rich Wilcox; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Woodlawn Baptist Church 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Don Reynolds and Pastor Barry Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park, Martinsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church, 30 Woodlawn Drive, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151.
