King David "Dave" Bryant

King David “Dave” Bryant, age 75 of Henry passed away Friday, June 19, 2026. He was born May 18, 1951, a son of the late King Edward Bryant and Velma Washington Bryant Thornton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Louise Bryant; and his sister, Iris Murphy Garner. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Teresa Philpott Bryant; two children, Joseph Bryant and Julie (Glen) Greer; granddaughter, Tesa Greer; and brother, Donald Bryant. Dave owned A1 Heating and Cooling for over 30 years. He was also a longtime member of Prillaman Baptist Church. Dave loved racing, especially modifieds, as well as mini stocks and go-karts. He always loved to do for others as he spent one month on a mission trip to Peru building an orphanage and helping the less fortunate. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Prillaman Baptist Church. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
