Larry Clifton Bell, age 64 of Copper Hill went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife on Wednesday, June 4, 2008.
He was born September 5, 1943, a son of the late William Earnest Bell and Pauline Craighead Bell Moran.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Bell; two brothers, William Nelson Bell and Samuel David Moran.
Mr. Bell is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Angela Meeks and Tony Pilcher, Patricia and John Wills; special grandson Larry Wayne Meeks, Jr. and Ashlie Buckner; his other grandchildren, Miranda Wills, Andrew Pilcher, Benjamin Wills and Jesse Wills; great-grandchildren, Zachary Buckner, Alexis Meeks and Nathen Meeks; brothers, Robert Moran, Steven Moran and Randall Moran; sisters Linda Steele and Carolyn Wilson; many nieces, nephews and very special friends including, Mark and Karen Clingenpeel, Connie Guilliams, Debbie Bennett and Carolyn Kreggor.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2008 with Rev. Bud Nichols and Tom Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow in Head of the River Cemetery in Floyd County.
His family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
