Larry Edward Gibson, age 72 of Ferrum died Wednesday, January 12, 2022. He was born September 19, 1949 a son of the late Edgar and Margie Stump Gibson. Surviving are his son, Chris Gibson; sisters, Corlis Boitnott and Carol White; brother, Edgar Vernon Gibson, Jr.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Chapel with Pastor Terry Covey officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
