Lauretta Louise Robertson Ellis

Lauretta Louise Robertson Ellis, age 85 of Hardy, VA passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024. She was born April 1, 1939, daughter of Charlie W. Robertson and Grace Pagans Robertson. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert Crafton (“Bear”) Ellis; brothers, Bookie Robertson (Phyllis), Giles Pruitt, Sherman Robertson (Sue); sisters, Shirley Ellis (Arthur), Joyce Rush, Marcella Hodges and Patricia Hodges (Ronnie). Surviving are her sister, Brenda Robertson (Bobby); nephew, Jeff Robertson (Chrystal, Jake, Carys); sister, Rachel Pruitt; sister, Diann Mitchell (Wayne); brother, Kirk Robertson (Carol); brother-in-law, Allen Hodges; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive guest at 1 p.m. and the funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Kaleidoscope (formerly Oylers Chapel Church). Interment will follow in Oylers Chapel Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
