Lee Thomas Peters, age 83 of Boones Mill died Wednesday, November 7, 2007.
He had been an active member of Boones Mill Christian Church for 61 years.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents Henry Parker and Nellie Montgomery Peters.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Rachel W. Peters; his son, James Lee Peters; his grandchildren, Jeffery T. Peters and wife Tammy and Daryn Leigh Peters; one great-grandson, Kyle Owen Peters; numerous cousins, friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will be conducted from Boones Mill Christian Church 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Stuart Royce and Elder Dan Long officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Boones Mill Christian Church
