Lee Roy Greer

Lee Roy Greer, age 78 of Browns Summit, NC passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026. He was born July 21, 1948, a son of the late Alonzo and Sara Evelyn Greer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Collie Greer; and siblings, Betty Sue Michaels, Dorothy James, Paul Greer, Red Greer and Jerry Greer. Surviving are his two children, Leanna Gammon and Dustin Greer (Katie); grandchildren, Tyrus Martin, Chloe Gammon, Daniel Greer, Kathryn Greer and Evelyn Greer; great-granddaughter, Willow Greer; many nieces and nephews. Lee Roy was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He also owned and operated Greer’s Carpet Service. Lee enjoyed playing guitar and golf. Services will be private.
