Leeta "Tammy" Evans

On Wednesday, May 26, 2021, Leeta “Tammy” Evans passed away in her home of Rocky Mount, Virginia. She was a loving mother of 3 children: Tony Thomas (Suzanne Thomas) of Bowling Green, KY, Kristina Sherburne (Christopher Sherburne) of Florence, AZ, and Robert Evans III (Elsa Evans) of Rocky Mount, VA and a wonderful grandmother to 5 grandchildren: Sierra Blaire (21), Kaiyah Thomas (8), Calvin Sherburne (8), Caden Sherburne (6), and Robert “lil Bobby” Evans the IV. In 2014, Tammy received her Associates Degree from Daymar College. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Leeta Atkins and her father, Charles Thomas. There will be a celebration of life on May 29, 2021, 12 noon at 825 N. Main Street Rocky Mount, VA. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
