Lena Holt Smith, age 94 of Rocky Mount died Friday, June 19, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura and Jim Holt; brothers, Frank, Sam, Mabry, Zach and Bernard Holt; sisters, Clara Webb, Roxie Bowles, Essie Dobyns; husbands, Napoleon Smith and James Artis Smith; and son, Bernard Byrd Smith.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Glenn Weaver; grandsons and wives, Brian and Hannah Weaver, Scott and Jennifer Weaver, Jeremy and Crystal Weaver; great-grandchildren, Rebekah, Samuel, Andrew, Garrett and Graham.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Jason Bryant and Mrs. Anne Snead officiating. Interment will follow in the Cooper Family Cemetery, Callaway.
Her family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
