Leon Herbert Rigney

Leon Herbert Rigney welcomed the Lord’s embrace as he journeyed to his heavenly home on Wednesday, July 03, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born December 14, 1952 a son of the late Alonza and Doris Maxey Rigney; and sister, Connie Sue Corns. Leon is survived by his loving wife and life-long friend, Martha Sue Rigney; son, Zane (Holly) Rigney; grandson, Easton; step-children, Ford Bowden and Faith (Kenneth) Syharath; devoted sister, Linda (Allen) Willie; nephews, Joey (Lisa) Willie whom he loved like a son, Dana (Brandi) Willie; great nieces, Layla, Avery and Erin; great nephew, Liam. Funeral services will be held at Forrest Hill Christian Church, 12 noon Saturday, July 6, 2019 with Minister Thomas Kilian officiating. Interment will follow in church cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
