Leona Hinkle Solon

Leona Hinkle Solon, age 84 of Boones Mill died Sunday, April 10, 2016. She was born in West Virginia on June 2, 1931. She was a retired Registered Nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cletus and Sylvia Hinkle; husband, Thomas J. Solon; brothers, Woodrow Hinkle, Fred Hinkle, William Hinkle, one sister, Jane Hinkle and one grandson, Andrew Phillips. Surviving are her brothers, James (Barbara), Charlie (Barbara); children, John T. Solon (Maneerat), Sherry Lane (Charles); grandchildren Abigail Solon, Kathryn Seidel (Eric), Joshua Phillips (Hisui); great-grandchildren, Addison, Cohen and Keagan. No services are planned per Mrs. Solon’s request. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
